We have produced two large format coffee-table photo books in house, and have a third in the works. These books are The Peace: An Exploration in Photographs by Don Pettit and Muska-Kechika: The Wild Heart of Canada's Northern Rockies by Wayne Sawchuk. The Peace: A History in Photographs will be available September 2008.

Now it its third printing, this beautifully produced book explores in text and photographs the bioregion defined by the mighty Peace River watershed, stretching across the northern reaches of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. From rugged Rocky Mountain wilderness to rolling prairie farmland, the Peace River watershed defines one of Canada's most unique northern frontiers.
Only recently settled, the Peace remains sparsely populated and rich in wildlife, an environment for those drawn to independence, room to move, and most of all, wildness.
Acclaimed photographer Donald A. Pettit has spent the last 25 years travelling, exploring and documenting the Peace River Region, an area almost the size of California, yet almost unknown to the rest of the world. Revealed now in all of its beauty and wonder, The Peace is a visual journey that you will enjoy again and again.

The Muskwa-Kechika: at one and a half times the size of Switzerland, by far the largest remaining wilderness in the Rocky Mountains. It is home to the greatest diversity and abundance of wildlife in North America and an inspiring new model for wilderness management.
Located in north-central British Columbia, the Muskwa-Kechika is rich in wildlife and wilderness, but it is also rich in natural resources. More than just a book of remarkable nature photographs, this is also a story about human nature, and how people of divergent interests found common ground, and with understanding and cooperation, agreed to protect an uncommon wilderness forever.
Northerner, one-time logger and trapper, photographer and conservationist Wayne Sawchuk tells his first-hand story of the creation of the Muskwa-Kechika. His adventures both at the bargaining table and deep within this wilderness bring the narrative to life, while over 170 of his photographs reveal with skill and artistry its remarkable landscape and wildlife. This book also features two full-page maps of the Muskwa-Kechika, and detailed photo captions explain the lessons that nature teaches.
